Every November

Hindu Heritage Month

A month to celebrate the culture, traditions and contributions of Canadians of Hindu heritage — and to share the values of dharma, ahimsa and yoga.

What is Hindu Heritage Month?

Recognized by Canada. Celebrated in London.

November is recognized as Hindu Heritage Month in Canada, established by a federal act in 2016 to celebrate the culture, traditions and contributions of Canadians of Hindu heritage. Communities honour the impact of Hindu Canadians across politics, business, medicine and the arts.

The month is also an opportunity for education about Hinduism's history, values, philosophy and cultural traditions.

02

The HHM Gala

We host our annual Hindu Heritage Month Gala — a grand finale celebrating our partnerships and community work throughout the year.

03

Civic recognition

We work with the City of London to secure recognition for Hindu Heritage Month.

04

Food Drive

Our annual community food drive for the London Food Bank — over 1,300 lbs of food donated in our first year.

This November, be part of it.
